I lack the finances to travel to one of the fifty countries on SAWA's list.
But, I have been discussing with the SAWA organizers about me reporting on topical stories from the SAWA home vicinity monthly or quarterly- that is on Vancouver or The Pacific Northwest of North America. It is obviously not one of the fifty poorest nations, but does still suffer its own concerns of discrimination, disease, water, educations and so on, and does have "local heros" trying to make a difference in these areas.
I will see if they are willing to broaden their geography on stories covered to include their own. If so, I have some stories I want to cover!
What is the general story idea you are wanting to shoot on video?

Thanks for reaching out. I am still new to SAWA and have yet to get very involved. I have been back and forth lately between my native home- USA, new york and my current residence in Vancouver, Canada. Hoping to get permanently settled in Canada for a while.
